Bit By Bit: Breaking the Barrier for Girls in Tech

April 30, 2017 @ 9:00 am - 2:00 pm

Free

Bit by Bit is a conference for high school girls, devoted to bringing together girls interested in computer science. Why? We believe that by gathering successful women with experiences to share, we can ensure that the female coders, entrepreneurs, and leaders of the future are prepared in an industry in which women are underrepresented. Join us at the conference to hear from inspiring speakers like Ursula Burns (CEO of Xerox) and Ayah Bdeir (CEO of littleBits), pose questions to panelists, participate in a mentorship luncheon, and learn about future opportunities to pursue computer science. We hope to see you at the Dalton School on April 30th, 2017. The panelists, mentors, and speakers have wisdom to share, all for free! No coding experience required. All female-identified NYC HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS are welcome.

If you are not in high school, and are interested in being a mentor at the conference, please fill out this form: Mentorship Application

Breaking the barrier, bit by bit. Together, let’s increase visibility in the Computer Science industry.

Love,
The Bit by Bit Team
