The focus of this edition will be on best in case uses of XR for Education across a variety of mediums and sub-sectors.

France-Lee Griggs – Google
France-Lee works on immersive technology products and education efforts at Google. Inspired by Star Trek’s Holodeck as a child, she is passionate about augmented & virtual reality technologies and their potential impact on collaboration and learning. She spent the first eight years of her career working in the video game industry which married her love for technology, education, and creativity. Prior to Google, she worked for the Entertainment Software Association, leading intellectual property education and training efforts.
Kevin Miklasz, PhD – BrainPOP
Kevin has worked in and around the fields of science, game design and education throughout his career. As a trained scientist, he has a PhD in Biology from Stanford University, but has spent his time after gaining a smattering of diverse experiences in education: designing science curriculum, teaching after-school science programs, designing science games, running game jams for kids, and analyzing assessment data. He is currently the Vice President, Data and Prototyping at BrainPOP, where he leads the Data team and run a Rapid Prototyping Lab that tests new product ideas in VR, AR and other directions.
