On Friday, April 28, Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. will host the 2017 Bronx Tech Summit at Metropolitan College of New York’s campus in The Hub.

Panelists will include experts in the media and technology fields, and the day’s events will cover a wide-range of issues, from health technology, to entrepreneurship, to building greater digital infrastructure for The Bronx, to developing talent to enter the growing fields of science and technology.

“We want to be the next tech hub of New York City, and we are bringing everyone together to nurture local Bronx talent and businesses as we grow our presence in the tech field,” said Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. “The 2017 Bronx Tech Summit will help us plan for a healthy, robust, diverse economy in The Bronx, one that creates new high-paying jobs and opportunities in technology.”
